Airing on NBC from 1959 to 1973 Bonanza was one of the most popular westerns to air on American Television. The theme, written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, was later arranged by David Rose is instantly recognized and has become an iconic theme. In addition to the television series, this theme has also made it on to some of David Rose's instrumental albums.
